Kim Lucas

Kim Lucas, a true Southern Girl, was born in Kentucky, raised in South Carolina, schooled in Tennessee and Georgia. Kim has held a real estate license for three years, but has bought and sold real estate for investment purposes for thirty years. Real estate is obviously in her blood – her late mother was a top Coldwell Banker Realtor in S.C. for many years.

Kim is a natural and professional match-matchmaker. She holds a Master’s Degree in Measurement and Human Differences and is certified in a myriad of personality and other types of assessments. She created, owned and managed a professional assessment firm, Assessment Plus, for nearly twenty years. In short, Kim excels at listening, problem solving, negotiating, and helping people…. qualities that make her an outstanding real estate agent.

Kim and her husband love the water, and after selling her company, sought to find the perfect island to call home. After visiting many of the Caribbean islands, they found what they were looking for right here in St. Croix and bought a home in May of 2005.
Kim initially began her career in Real Estate as an exclusive buyer’s agent and property manager. Her passion for the island is contagious and her prior “investigative” experience enables her to provide her clients with a broad perspective on the real estate market here – so she naturally does well working exclusively with Buyers. Her experience as a property manager and her penchant for investment property also makes her a good match for buyers coming to the islands with the purpose of purchasing a home or condo to rent, or property to hold and sell later.

Kim wanted to expand her business and hone her skills in order to provide a broader array of services to her buyer clients and to help her local friends and acquaintances sell their homes. After looking at what other firms on the island could offer, she selected Coldwell Banker. Being the daughter of a Coldwell Banker Elite team member, Kim knew of the professional development opportunities that would be afforded her with this firm, and is thrilled to bring her enthusiasm and skills to Coldwell Banker Land-de Wilde Realty.
